KINDERMUSIK FOR THE YOUNG MUSICIAN - Using a small group approach to music education, Prodigy School of the Arts provides a pressure free class environment where your child can develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers.
The program is designed to prepare the young child who is eager for first experiences with musical symbols and instrument discovery but is not yet ready for formal lessons and traditional music reading on a complex instrument. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 10-15 minutes of class to gain a perspective of what we learned in class today so some assistance and guidance can be given at home when it comes to practice time.
In most schools, children have to wait until the 3rd or fourth grade to play an instrument. Prodigy bridges the gap by presenting Kindermusik for the Young Musician, quenching the K-2nd graders thirst for musical exploration and knowledge.
